About us
Dyco Group consists of three companies that have grown into an experienced and driven fashion agency in ready-to-wear and lingerie. Our field of activity is the Belgian an Luxembourg market. Dyco & Dexit represent +/- 20 brands at 500 customers. Our professional and motivated team guarantees our values: respect, freedom & tolerance, and thus ensures excellent and lasting relationships with customers and our suppliers.
Dyco also invests in collaborations such as “shop in the shops” at retailers and Almodi, part of the Dyco Group, has built up a very large experience and know-how at INNO as a consultant for different brands.
Our showrooms and offices are located in Brussels in the vicinity of the Atomium, 500m from the exit of the Ring Road.
At the start, and even today, we chose brands of timeless quality for the higher middle class. No brands for teenagers and no super expensive brands for the happy few. Most of our brands come from family-run companies. Of course, it took time to get to where the Dyco Group stands today.
Johan Jacobs started in his garage in 1988 with two brands, Calida and Bruno Saint Hilaire. In 1989 he founded Dyco together with Chris Vanhaeren and Patrick Steens. Back then, with three departments, ready-to-wear, lingerie & department stores, the forerunner of today’s structure.
The success of this collaboration meant that Dyco had to move up to three times to finally settle in Strombeek-Bever in a building of 1.000m² with free private parking for its clients. The arrival of the new generation, Tijl Jacobs in 2007 and Matthijs Vanhaeren in 2013 created a new dynamic, resulted in further growth and promises a bright future.
In 2019 we entered a new company structure with Dyco as distributor in ready-to-wear and sportswear, Dexit as distributor in lingerie and Almodi as consultant for all activities at INNO. Almodi works both for its own brands and for third parties.
The success story of Dyco is based on a solid cooperation between a motivated team of employees.
